“I´m interested in documentary photography and photojournalism, I want to give visibility to social issues through local stories in a universal way".

 

I started working as a contributing photographer for the local newspaper in my city in 2005, and I haven't stopped taking pictures until today.

I combining my own personal projects with my work as a freelance photographer for companies, and the media news,as a collaborating photographer for international agencies such as Getty Images or EFE agency. My photographs are published in media such as The New York Times, BBC, The Daily Telegraph, Time Magazine, The Guardian, Vogue or El País. On several occasions, my photographs have been selected by their editors among the most outstanding ones, being published all over the world to illustrate international media articles.

In 2015 I completed my studies with the Master in Photography of personal projects at Photoespaña in Madrid. I was the winner of Lensculture's international Emerging Talent Award 2015 competition with my work Unanswered, and in 2016 I was nominated for the European Useen Talent Award.

In 2021 I received the Journalists of Aragon-City of Zaragoza Award from the Journalists Association of Aragon for my photojournalistic coverage of the covid-19 pandemic.
